NP Finder Address Won't Update

Problem

When members attempt to update their NP Finder address, it returns an error stating that their address can't be verified and won't be included on NP Finder.

Solution

There are a few work arounds, the AANP dev team is researching why this is becoming more of an issue lately.

 

Step 1

Open the worksite in Aptify (Person > Worksite > Company)

Do NOT update, hide or remove the record from NP Finder Manager as the end user. Any update will cause the error again on the front end.

 

Step 2

Look to see if the GeoCode Long 1 and GeoCode (Lat) fields are populated. Either way, a re-save may resolve the issue.

Change the address in a small way - Road to Rd, Suite to Ste, etc. and see if the GeoCoding attributes get updated after saving.

 

Step 3

Verify the GeoCode Lat and Lon are now populated. Verify the address now appears in NP Finder.

Worksite is now displayed in NP Finder.

 

NOTE: If they need to update any content about their worksite, they will need to work with membership again. They can make their edits, and when finalized, reach back out to you to have you re-save the address on the backend.
