Yes, in April 2024, AANP opened International Memberships, inviting NPs and other advanced practice nurses (APNs) outside of the U.S. to join AANP in advancing practice, education, advocacy, research and leadership in their countries.

International members of AANP will be able to utilize clinical resources including point-of-care tools, practice briefs and the Journal of the American Association of Nurse Practitioner’s (JAANP) Resource Center; continuing educational (CE) activities found in AANP’s CE Center and access to both JAANP and the Journal for Nurse Practitioners (JNP); and will have the ability to connect with NPs and APNs across the world through AANP Communities, the International APN Ambassador Program and much more.
International Membership will automatically be assigned to any individual with a permanent address located outside of the U.S. and related U.S. territories, such as Puerto Rico, Guam, Pacific U.S. territories and the Virgin Islands. Membership fees are based on the countries where international members reside, and likewise, certain aspects of AANP services, member benefits, information, content, materials and products may be unavailable to international members.
