What are the membership benefits for students?

AANP believes that students are vital to the future of the profession and the association. That is why AANP provides its student members with resources to help them find a nurse practitioner program, achieve certification, and access to grants and scholarships, to name a few. 

AANP also has created resources that were curated specifically with its student members’ needs in mind, namely AANP SET and the Gear Up for Success Guide. Learn more. 

AANP SET – short for Student Education and Training – is an online experience designed to complement NP student coursework. Through the AANP SET learning center, AANP student members can enhance their clinical, professional and leadership competencies. AANP SET is free to student members. 

The Gear Up for Success Guide aims to provide valuable, high-level overview of essential “soft skills” and other information student members need to consider at this key stage in their NP journey.
